It is a follow-up to my first Christmas album Midwinter Carols (2013), and like that recording, this one includes piano arrangements of carols both old and new, from the 8th century antiphon, "Veni, Veni Emmanuel," to the 16th century carol from the Provence region of France, "Un Flambeau, Jeanette, Isabelle," to the delightful 20th century Italian carol "Gesu Bambino." As the cool days of autumn give way to the chill of winter, I hope these lively, enchanting instrumental piano arrangements might bring joy and warmth to your season.
